BEIJING-- The high-performance, inexpensive expert system design launched just recently by Chinese startup DeepSeek has created a wave of attention around the globe. DeepSeek-R1 appears to provide performance that rivals alternatives from the U.S., trade-britanica.trade however the company says it was established at less than a tenth of the expense of those designs. Chinese innovation news portal 36Kr spoke with the creator, Liang Wenfeng, pipewiki.org in July 2024.
