OpenAI CEO Sam Altman announced the new 'deep research study' tool in Tokyo

US tech giant OpenAI on Monday unveiled a ChatGPT tool called "deep research study" that can produce detailed reports, as China's DeepSeek chatbot warms up competition in the expert system field.
